David L. Stahl Obituary, Death – A 69-year-old man from Renovo, Pennsylvania, tragically lost his life in a one-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in eastern Bradford County. Pennsylvania State Police at Towanda identified the victim as David L. Stahl of Renovo, located in Clinton County.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. on U.S. Route 6 in Wyalusing Township, near the intersection with Old Stagecoach Road. State police reported that Stahl was traveling westbound in a 2019 Ford Fiesta when he likely experienced a medical emergency. The emergency caused Stahl to lose control of the vehicle, which then crossed into the eastbound lane and veered off the road. The car struck a guide rail and continued along the rail before finally hitting a rock embankment, where it came to a stop.
Emergency crews, including Guthrie EMS, responded quickly to the scene. Stahl was extricated from the wreckage but was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene, despite efforts to provide medical treatment.
State police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, with a particular focus on determining the cause of Stahl’s apparent medical emergency. They have not yet released additional details regarding the investigation or any possible contributing factors to the crash.
This incident underscores the unpredictability of driving, especially when medical emergencies strike without warning. The community in Renovo and surrounding areas is mourning the loss of Stahl, a man who was taken too soon due to a tragic and unforeseen event. As the investigation continues, authorities urge drivers and passengers to remain aware of any potential medical conditions that may affect their ability to drive safely.
